Our coaches have played at all levels of basketball. Their passion and commitment to the game and to basketball in Bromley is unmatched.
Coach Steve
The team is led by our Head Coach, Steve Rich.
Steve founded Bromley Juniors in 2018. He has been the orchestrator of the club’s rapid growth and development, taking the coaching lead in all of our different age groups.
In 2025-26 Steve coached the Fury U14 team to it’s second consecutive Conference league title and promotion to the National League premier. In 2026-27 Steve will be coaching our U16 NBL Conference team.
Steve grew up in Bromley, attending Hayes Secondary. As a schoolboy Steve was one of the top players in the country, captaining England Schoolboys at 15 years old. His junior basketball journey took him as far afield as the United States and Europe, as well as much closer to home here in Bromley. His passion for basketball and for youth basketball in Bromley is unrivalled.
Coach Rory
Rory Johnson coaches our U14 NBL Premier team and captains Bromley Fury 1st Team.
Another Bromley schoolboy, Rory attended St Olave’s Grammar School. Rory is a real student of the game and a hugely talented player. A natural enthusiast, he is a well known and very well liked figure in the London basketball scene.
in 2025-26 Rory was the lead coach of our highly talented U12 and U13 CVL teams. 2026-27 will see him take the reins of our U14’s and cut his teeth in the National League Premier.
