Providing a firm foundation
Our policies, standards and rules underpin everything we do. They provide a safe foundation for our members to play basketball, and an agreed set of behaviours and rules that we will abide by.
Code of Ethics and Conduct
The Code of Ethics and Conduct outlines the expected behaviour of all members, volunteers, staff, coaches, referees, parents, carers, and players within Bromley Basketball Club. It promotes fairness, respect, responsibility, and integrity in line with the values of Basketball England.
Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy
Our Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Policy underpins our stated aim to maximise participation in basketball in the borough of Bromley. The purpose of the policy is to ensure that Bromley Basketball Club is committed to providing an environment that values and promotes equality, embraces diversity, and ensures inclusion for all participants, volunteers, staff, and members.
Safeguarding
Bromley Basketball Club is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all its members, especially children, young people, and vulnerable adults. We believe everyone has the right to be protected from harm, abuse, and exploitation regardless of age, gender, race, disability, sexual orientation, religion or belief.
We fully adopt and implement the principles and procedures outlined by Basketball England’s Safeguarding Policy.
Constitution
Our Constitution outlines the official purpose of the club, its structure, the way it is managed and the provisions for members to have a say in what happens.
