Our U13 Open Session run on Wednesdays at 6.00pm at Bullers Wood School for Boys.
The U13s continue the work done at U12 level, combining core skills with competitive matches. A selected group of U13s play in our CVL team. CVL stands for Central Venue League – a series of events where a number of teams converge on a venue for the day and play each other in series of matches.
The U13s are led by Coach Steve, our Head Coach. As a pupil at Hayes School, Steve won the National Schools tournament. He went on to represent and captain the England age group team, and to play Div 1 National League Men’s Basketball. He now plays for Bromley Fury Vets.
Alongside Coach Steve is Coach Rory, who coaches our U13 CVL team. Rory is captain of Bromley Fury 1st Team.
U13 is a critical year, as the players gain experience to prepare them for the following year’s Junior NBL Teams U14 trials.
