It’s just fun to play
Our U16 Open Session is for anyone who just wants to play basketball. Our coaches are there to help and to provide guidance, but the emphasis is on playing and having fun. More of the session is spent scrimmaging and playing mini-games. Last year, this was one of our most popular sessions.
And if you are over 16 (school years 12 & 13), get in touch – if you want to play we aren’t going to stop you.
The U16 sessions are led by Coach Steve, our Head Coach. As a pupil at Hayes School, Steve won the National Schools tournament. He went on to represent and captain the England age group team, and to play Div 1 National League Men’s Basketball. He now plays for Bromley Fury Vets.
And once again, although we say it’s just for fun, we are still on the look out. This session is a great way of joining the club and moving on to other activities if that is the right route for you.
